Tyler L. is the founder and principal instructor of Examine It Tutoring Services, which works in and around the various boroughs of New York. Examine It works with a wide range of students, all with unique educational backgrounds. We focus on developing a student’s problem solving ability rather than content memorization.
Tyler is a former environmental engineer at Air Pollution Characterization & Control. APCC is based out of Hermon, ME and focuses on air pollution compliance testing for industrial facilities. While there, he learned importance of applying abstract engineering concepts to real life and often irregular situations. He also learned the value of problem solving in real time and conveys that importance to his current students.
Tyler graduated magna cum laude from the University of Maine with a B.S. in Chemical Engineering and a Mathematics minor. He currently resides in Manhattan.

Hello,
I have been tutoring Math for over 14 years for various grades: Middle School, High School, and College. Math is a wonderful subject once you understand it. My primary objective is to help you love Math and enjoy it. Once that is established, nothing will stop you from excelling at Math.
Diplomas: I hold a PhD in Wireless Communications, MS in Telecommunications, and BS in Electrical Engineering.
Tutoring Methods: My tutoring methods involve direct engagement with the student to make sure he/she is really understanding what I am explaining. I always try to provide real life scenarios where certain formulas are applied. This approach helps the student remember the equation or even reconstruct it again based on the scenarios discussed. Everything in Math is applied in our daily life but we are unaware of it because we do not pay attention to it but that does not mean it does not exist. After most sessions, I assign few problems for the student to work on them at home before our next session (these assignments could be chosen from the textbook or I could formulate them myself). This method affirms student understanding of the subjects covered.
Guarantees: I can guarantee you that if you follow the steps I pass onto you and do your homework assigned to you, I have no doubt that you will not only pass the class but also end up with an A. That's based on experience and not talk.

Hello,
My name is Veronika and I am a Math teacher with 4 years of experience teaching and 5 years experience tutoring.
I am originally from Ukraine and I got my Bachelors there. During my studies I was working at the public school teaching and tutoring Math to elementary, middle and hight school pupils.
My students are always achieving best results during their tests, they feel comfortable at the lessons because they feel confident about their knowledge and orient in material. We are always doing together homework and I ask them if they have any questions about current material, then we together go all over material we need to work on. Once I target weaknesses in material of my student, I explain it until he/she completely understands it.
Once I moved to United States I studied in California University of Management and Sciences where I finished my Masters in Business Administration. During my studies I was helping students tutoring them Audit and Financial Accounting. I have multiple references.
My students usually like my teaching style a lot as it is very friendly and effective at the same time. First lesson is 50% off.

I am a teen tutor highly interested in mathematics and science. I love teaching math and science in new ways and focus on teaching concepts. Schools and teachers often do not teach individually, and children with different learning methods tend to fall behind. My purpose as a tutor is to uplift those students and bring them to be an A-student.

Hello!
I love interacting with others and teaching them what I know to make a difference in their lives. My greatest belief is that the imagination is the limit. I want to help students get better and achieve their dreams. Some of my teachers were amazing, and I want to be that person for someone else.
I teach/tutor chemistry, biology, and calculus. As a student of biology, these are my areas of focus where I excel. Having given the AP just recently and having a good experience in helping others through the process, I am adept at making others understand the fundamentals as well as the more developed ideas.
You cannot scientifically prove something is impossible.
Good luck in your journey!

I have taken Algebra, Algebra 2, Geometry, Math analysis (pre-calculus), Calculus, AP Calculus AB (5/5 on AP test), and Statistics. I helped tutor a student in Algebra 2 while taking Calculus and she was able to do better in class after the extra help she received. I work well with upper-level students who need a little extra help understanding more advanced concepts. I am also able to help students to prepare for final exams and AP tests as stated before I scored a 5/5 on my AP calculus test. As for a background of my education, I graduated 6 of 148, with a GPA of 4,24. I am currently in college studying Engineering with intent to pursue a degree in Aerospace Engineering. My prices are negotiable and I am willing to work with schedules as best as I can. If you have any questions feel free to email me and I will respond as soon as I can.

I am pursuing my computer engineering bachelor's but have experience teaching students of all levels by breaking everything into steps and making sure the concepts are understood before moving on. I also like to create study guides as that is what has helped me be successful in my educational career. I also have attended online lectures and am being trained to guide groups over zoom so I know fun and exciting ways to keep students engaged and have tools to make the experience as immersive as possible.

I wanted to clarify a few things. I have received two Associate's degrees from Raritan Valley Community College. One in Liberal Arts and the other in Food and Beverage Management. I am currently majoring in Chemistry and Mathematics and have been accepted to Rider University with a full scholarship to continue my education in Chemistry. I have screenshots of my transcript from RVCC with most of the college courses that I have taken and the grades I have received. This website only let's you post 4 pictures so I tried to post as many as I could. I have a cumulative GPA of 3. 41 and I was awarded a scholarship from the American Chemical Society to continue my education in Chemistry. I would also like to say that I'm a single mother of one child and I'm just trying to make some extra money while going to school. Give me a chance and I would love to share my knowledge with you!
