I am a sophomore at Creighton University studying Finance and International Business and minoring in Spanish. I have been tutoring students for about 2 years now, and have worked with student of all ages and abilities. Some students just need help studying for a test, and some need help in catching up to their classmates. More often than not, all it takes is a little bit of 1 on 1 attention and detailed instructions for a student to succeed. I have lots of experience working with students with learning disabilities such as ADHD, dyscalculia, dyslexia and have used evidence based practices to help these students succeed. On top of being a full time college student, I am also an intern at a local company, so I have academic and practical uses and experiences for a lot of the mathematical processes elementary-high school students are learning.
I also offer extensive ACT prep, and have lots of experience with standardized tests as well (considering I took the ACT 4 times..YIKES). If your student wants to improve their ACT score, improve their grades, or just improve their overall understanding of a subject, I would love to help.

Hey you beautiful people! I know the difficulties in python(or coding in general) first hand. I was in your shoes once believe it or not. It can seem very hard and scary, I understand, but it doesn't need to be. Many concepts in coding(python) just need to be broken down for us to understand! When you and I have a 1-on-1 together. We'll use my building block strategy, making learning new concepts easier. The strategy entails breaking down big concepts into smaller pieces, and then building it back up again. So, whether you want to become a better coder, build projects, or get your future job. I am going to help you make your goal a success. My passion from an early age is sharing my knowledge to people(coaching Calculus and now coding). I am always trying to find a way to make an impact on someones life. I am here for you, your future and your career. Also because I'm very passionate about helping you. I will take this very seriously. A free 30 min consultation is included to help decide if we are a match for each other. I am very excited to speak with you and can't wait to help you crush it!

Thank you for coming to my tutor profile! My name is Zack, and I am a tutor that specializes in Mathematics, Science, and Writing. I aspire to be an astrophysicist at NASA, but tutoring is something I will never give up! Learning is a very important part of life, but it is equally as important in the educational system. However, it is very frustrating to not be able to comprehend subjects and also not knowing what resources you can take advantage of. We've all been there before; you are not alone!!! That is where I come in. I find there to be nothing more enjoyable than guiding people of all different ethnicities, cultures, and educational history to success. The joy of seeing people grow while tutoring is one of the main reasons I decided to start in the first place. As your tutor, I will work with you to help you have a better, more in-depth understanding of the subject(s) in which you struggle with. It is my goal as a tutor to help you achieve your personal goals, and to find the most constructive way to teach you based upon your learning style and what feels right for you!

I have completed a degree in biology and a minor in biochemistry, in addition to taking many neurosciences courses and all premed required-classes. Some but not all the classes I have taken include genetics, human physiology, behavioral neuroscience, immunology, cell biology, biochemistry, evolution, stem cell biology, organic chemistry I & II and general chemistry. I have also completed research-based classes and done research, so I'm comfortable with assisting with reading, understanding and analyzing biology research papers.

As a native Chinese from Shanghai, China, who graduated from St. Olaf College, I have offered personalized Mandarin Chinese lessons and professional cross-cultural communication consulting for more than 6 years in Minnesota. My Mandarin Chinese programs include face-to-face private Chinese lessons both online and in person. My students range from 4 year old beginners to 75 year old professionals from all across the states.
While still serving as a Chinese teacher at St. Paul Academy, I have given tutoring lessons to more than 400 students from various schools in Minnesota including Yin Hua Academy, St. Paul Academy, Breck School, University of Minnesota, St. Olaf College, Concordia Language Villages, and etc,. My work also involves serving as the language and cultural consultant for various business projects and organizations including the Minnesota Timberwolves basketball team.
TESTIMONIALS
"I highly recommend Mr. W. as a Mandarin Chinese tutor. He is an excellent teacher, being very patient in explaining, and as necessary repeating, the difficult nuances of speaking and reading Mandarin. He is a master in integrating technology into his teaching method. Building vocabulary lists that students can easily review when they are on the internet, allowing them to review at their own convenience. He makes learning enjoyable by integrating Chinese language videos, stories, and news items, as appropriate, to allow the student to listen and try to comprehend different speeds of speaking and slightly different accents of a variety of Mandarin speakers. A bit about me:
I am a recent graduate from Drake University in Iowa. I began as a Music Business major, but realized my passion for the law while taking an ethics class my freshman year. While I still appreciated the music world, and kept my music interest with classes, choir and a music minor, I quickly switched my major to Law, Politics & Society. With this switch, I began my now legal career in pursuit of an eventual career in writing policy. I added a Rhetoric major to emphasize my interest in dissecting and analyzing society, relationships and societal communications. I originally took the LSAT and did well above average, but realized that basic law school was not the direction I was interested in and rather wanted to pursue my PhD in Criminology, while at the same time getting my JD. Because of the breadth of this decision, I decided to take a few years off before starting my doctoral education.
I have never believed in the conventional approach to education for all students. While some definitely benefit from structured lesson plans, homework and assignments, many more succeed in a more free-flowing, conversational environment. I learned this while studying abroad for my senior year of high school, in the lovely land of Germany. I technically graduated high school as a junior, and headed to Germany as a gap year in education. I was still required to go to school, and realized how difficult that had become in my, now, high school graduate mentality. My defiance towards attending classes in Germany, helped me realize the different stages at which students learn and the importance of tailored, one-on-one education. I dedicated my time in Germany to learning the language inside and out and have continued my love of German through a certificate of fluency and constant tutoring throughout college.
Please contact me if you have any questions or if you would like to set up a session! I would love to help you reach your educational goal.

A fourth-year college student who has been studying Secondary English Education. My teaching philosophy is teaching students to know their abilities, even if they think they are less than they believe. My goal is to make sure the students are able to understand the fundamentals before getting to the stepping stones. Just like in life, the foundation is the building block for the rest of the www.*** ;

Hello my name is Justin,
I am beginning my third year of studies at the University of Wisconsin - Stout. At Stout we focus on a strong hands-on, application based aproach. I have tutored at my schools math lab for one academic year and will be returning in the fall. I love teaching and aiding in the education process. People I have tutored before have found me freindly and easy to work with while still encouraging a positive learning and working environment. I can tutor all high school level math courses and college algerba. I do not tutor Calculus or any course following Calculus.
My math background includes algerba, geometry, college algerba, Calclus l and ll, Discrete Mathmatics, and Linear Alegerba. I love working with students and people looking to learn something about math, and one of my favorite joys is seeing someone I tutor grasp a new concept.
