Hello! My name is Quinn and I am a freshman history education major. I have always had a passion for teaching and would often times find myself helping fellow classmates. I have tutored for about a year now and specialize in elementary tutoring. I believe that education provides a solid foundation for success in life. Through tutoring and eventually teaching I hope to provide my students a chance at getting a solid education to set them up for a successful life. I love to work with all types of students, including those with various learning disorders and disabilities as I have tips and tricks to help them out.
I graduated from Southern Adventist University December 2018 with a bachelors in elementary education non licensure. Right now, I work as a substitute teacher in Cleveland tn. I love spending time helping children with homework assignments, playing, and talking to them. During college two of my classes required me to tutor children that were struggling in reading and math. I would make my own materials to help them understand concepts better.
I have tutored Phonics, Spelling, Vocabulary, and Elementary Math for 5 years. I have also worked for Kumon tutoring center for a year teaching Math and Reading. I have taught preschool, Kindergarten and 1st grade for 3 years teaching Phonics, Reading, Math, English, Spelling, and Vocabulary. The students that I have tutored in the past have overall passed and bettered their class grades.
I have experience helping elementary aged children with homework at schools and homeless shelter. I created fun ways to learn math which really helped them want to learn.
I would love to meet your student and expand their knowledge and confidence. I have 18 years of teaching experience. Willing to tutor elementary and middle school students.
I started my love of education very young, and started reading when I was just 2 years old. After that I just blossomed. I was invited into the gifted program as a 2nd grader at Matrin Luther King Elementary to continue throughout my middle school years. Now that I am in highschool, I've been placed into AP classes, because of my outstanding academics. However, there are some seeds in the world that need that extra boost to blossom into the flowers that they are, I believe I can provide that extra boost to your children.
My name is Emma K., I am a 16 year old high school student looking for a babysitting or tutoring job in McDonough Georgia. If possible, I would prefer a job where the parent could handle transportation, as I do not have my license. I can tutor most basic subjects, especially to young children. Pay is negotiable.
Brittany Nicole B. grew up in Westchester, a small neighborhood in Nashville Tennessee. Reflecting away from the possible negative influences, she turned to pen and paper, writing stories and poems, telling the good and the bad. Never letting go of her passion to write, Brittany now writes urban tales. You never know where her imagination is going to take you. The mystery leads you wanting to read more!
Brittany has a bachelor degree in Political Science from Tennessee State University. Working on her Master in Education she is a single mother of a seven year old son. June 2016 Brittany started her own publishing company, Impression Publications located in Nashville, Tn. In her spare time she devotes her time to her son, reading and spending time with family and friend.
Hello! My name is Jiwon P., and I am a Freshman at Vanderbilt University, majoring in economics. I moved from Korea when I was in middle school, and have taught Korean to many students. Please contact me if you want to learn Korean for whatever occasions!
I am an experienced Elementary school teacher with 8 years of classrroom experience. If your child is struggling at school and needs help catching up, I can help. I can also help with homework. I love working with children and would prefer to meet at a local library.
My name is Sydiah www.*** I am a rising senior at Ramsay High School in Birmingham, AL. I am in the top 5% of my class and currently on the A honor roll. I have a passion for helping other people in their areas of need and what better way to do so than becoming a tutor for kids that need help in understanding and grasping concepts. Due to COVID-19, I am willing to spend extra time with children as I understand that it may be hard to grasp new concepts away from the classroom.
My family and I just moved to Clarksville last summer! I will be a sophomore at the University of Kentucky in August. I am majoring in Human Health Sciences on the pre-pharmacy track. A majority of my courses consist of math and science courses. I have watched kids as young as 3 months all the way up to age 12. During the school year, I would pick up kids from school and care for them until their parents came home. Over the summers, I would watch the kids from 7 AM - 5 PM. I am comfortable driving with kids in the car as I have experience taking them to and from summer camps, sports practices, clubs, and the pool. I am comfortable preparing meals and enforcing bedtime routines.
I am going to be a Secondary Math Education major the coming school year. Currently my hours are very limited but starting in June there will be very few restrictions. I can assist with elementary and middle school math as well as Algebra 1 and 2, Pre-Calculus, and AP Calculus AB. I've spent the past year working at an after school program at an elementary school. While I only have one year's worth of job experience I have been tutoring friends and classmates for years. Feel free to contact me with any questions: ***@***

I am a high school senior who has loves to help others and to help children have a better understanding of the subject(s) they struggle with in school so they can excel.
I have 12 years of experience as a teacher and tutor. I believe in finding new and innovative methods of teaching to help students succeed. Each student is unique and what may work for one may not work for another, that is why I take my time to ensure I prepare lessons that are appropriate for each student individually that will help him/her develop the skills needed to improve in class. I have experience working with different age groups and with students with learning disabilities. I have a passion for teaching. I believe every student has the ability to succeed. Sometimes we just need the extra help and someone to care and believe in us to show us the way. I want to continue to be that person for students, someone they can lean on, and help them in their journey to success.
