I graduated from Princeton Unversity, with a Bachelor of Science in Chemical and Biological Engineering in Spring 2018. I am currently applying to medical schools, but have always had a passion for teaching - whereas I began tutoring other students - both younger and the same age as I - as a freshman in high school. I continued during my summer breaks from college, even though I had various internships and research jobs. I am working full-time (40 hours a week) as a clinical research assistant at CHOP, but would love to continue to teach on the side! I love working with everyone from children to young adults. I am willing to work out location, hours, and what services I am willing to provide, depending on the student -- this includes via skype for interested students that are not in the Philadelphia area. Please contact me for interest and pricing and I am sure we can work something out!

I am passionate about teaching others and enjoy subjects such as math and science. Having received high grades in high level math classes (honors and advanced placement), I understand the struggles students may face. I can teach kindergarten and middle school level classes, as well as algebra I. Furthermore, I have experience teaching students anywhere from kindergarten to 9th grade. I am energetic and friendly, and am open to teaching in different styles. Additionally, I can provide homework assignments and extra help resources!

I'm an Electrical Engineer and I have had experience with mentoring high school students in a program teaching about the world of building and construction with engineering and architecture.
I would like to make more impact in the lives of students who just need some extra time to learn concepts and principles of math and science.
Is your son or daughter having trouble studying their maths and sciences? Or needs bring up a grade to maintain their extra-cirriculars? I use methods that focus on learning the fundamentals of a subject and instilling practice that helps give the confidence to approach problems and achieve goals.
Important: I work in my day job typically from 9am-6pm, so please reach out to me with a name, preferred time to contact, and what level of study your son/daughter is working and I will reach out to discuss session period dates and times.
Sessions times are negotiable, online sessions are via Zoom and I offer the first session up to one hour for free!

I offer lessons in a couple different styles, depending on the goals of the student
- Test Prep (SAT, SHSAT, Regents, finals): we will identify weak points and maximize the student's score as quickly as possible. If a student starts out with minimal knowledge of the material, we can cover the basics much faster than a traditional classroom. I would recommend 2-hour sessions to start
- Through Learning: ideal if we start early during a course. The student will understand all the material covered in class in greater depth, and be slightly ahead of his fellow classmates. I'll also show how the material connects to more advanced or applied topics, that are rarely shown in class (but which become very useful later in a student's career)
- For fun/for a project: more geared towards a computer science project. If the student has an idea for a project, we'll cover the strategy for implementing it, and we'll go over any tricky parts. The student will also learn a variety of tools to make coding more efficient, such as IDE's, debuggers, version control, Linux commands, etc. depending on the project
The point is you will see results and see them fast

I am moving around August 5th for my new job. So I will not be available after that unless we work out something online with updated hours due to my new job. I minored in both math and Spanish. I am conversationally fluent in Spanish and can help with speaking, reading, writing, and grammar. I can do all math up to and including calculus. I have done higher levels but we will have to discuss those more because I am not as comfortable with them. I can teach basic computer science principles and ideas as well as many languages including C, Java, Python, HTML, CSS, Javascript, ReactJS, and React Native. Prices are negotiable.
