I'm Hamzah! I am doing my undergraduate with a Bachelor's Degree in Applied Mathematics. In college, I felt that classes were enjoyable not just because I understood the topic that I was learning. It was the professors who made the class interesting. The professors I had were always engaging and knowledgeable when teaching the material, and were willing t provide extra help when needed. Seeing my professors made me want to become a tutor. Everything that I gained through my professors I try to incorporate in my teaching. I try my level best to give my 110% to the students and I try various styles of teachings to make the material easy to understand. I use lesson plans, lecture notes, practice problems to help teach the material. I try various techniques to keep the students motivated in learning the material. If the student has a difficult time understanding the material I stay with the individual till he or she feels they are confident. My teaching style is balanced for students with various teaching styles, my pace of teaching is well balanced o the point the student is able to understand the material that is being taught.
I have two years’ work of tutoring experience, my location was a University Library where I always held me sessions. I have worked as a teaching assistant for a year and I held my study sessions at the college library. I worked with students who require additional assistance, but also had an entire classroom. These were students who wanted extra help and wanted to stay ahead in the course, I worked with them during the evenings and spent sometimes an entire day to help the students understand the material. All my sessions were held during the night time, these sessions gave students to ask extra questions regarding exams or home works. I also provided extra material for students so that they have extra techniques and problems to practice, this would help build the students confidence. I have tutored College Algebra, Calculus 1, Calculus 2, Calculus 3 and Differential Equations.
I want to help students build their confidence, change their lives and most importantly make them believe that they can be successful in the subject they are learning. I work with anything so if students or parents have material that they would like to share, I am willing to look over it. I am an easy resource that will require quick responses. Do not hesitate to ask questions, because I will always be available to answer. Do not think of me just a tutor, but most importantly think of me as a friend. Feel free to contact me with any additional questions or scheduled lessons!
I began tutoring in 1999 and have been doing this as my primary income source for over 20 years with over 15 of that as a full time www.*** ; I have accumulated over 20,000 hours of face to face tutoring time across a wide variety of subjects.
I am comfortable tutoring all middle school or high school mathematics or physics courses, the majority of lower division undergraduate math courses (including all courses for a standard STEM degree) and select upper division undergraduate math courses.
I am fully vaccinated for COVID-19 and am happy to tutor using a mode of your choice at a location of your choice.
Please feel welcome to send any specific inquiries to me.
I am dedicated to helping you understand any math topic or assignment you bring to me. If you would like to send me whatever assignment or concepts you need help with before a session, I would be happy to do any prep-work necessary to provide a quality tutoring service. Feel free to contact me via email or text.
I'm a freelance tutor in mathematics and physics. I was recommended by my professors to be tutors in the subjects of calculus, physics, chemistry, and English. I plan on pursuing a higher degree in physics with the end goal of becoming a physics educator, and develop better textbooks for STEM subjects. I may use explanations of a subject that are a little unconventional, so you're not paying for a simple reiteration of what your teacher said in class, but rather a completely fresh attempt to elucidate the material. I'm excited to help you with homework, or explain any concepts that you struggle with!
If my listed availability doesn't work for you, message me anyway. I'm willing to negotiate.

My name is Jacob www.*** I am a 4th year Computer Engineering student at the Univeristy of California, Riverside. Throughout my time here at UCR, I have had the joy of taking many high level mathematics courses to satisfy my engineering degree. This includes: Calculus I, II, III, Multivariable Calculus, Differential Equations, and Discrete Mathematics. I recieved an A in all of the courses in addition to recieving a 5 on the AP Calculus AB exam in my senior year of high school. I can also tutor high school level math such as Algebra II, Geometry, and Precalculus. In addition to these math subjects, I can also tutor Physics I, II, III and many subjects in Computer Science including but not limited to C++, Data Structures & Algorithms, Embedded Systems, Software Engineering, Database Management, and Computer Architecture.
The Institute was established in 1824 by Stephen van Rensselaer and Amos Eaton for the "application of science to the common purposes of life" and is described as the oldest technological university in the English-speaking world. Numerous American colleges or departments of applied sciences were modeled after Rensselaer.
Today, Rensselaer is organized into six main schools which contain 37 departments, with emphasis on science and technology. It is well recognized for its degree programs in engineering, computing, business and management, information technology, the sciences, design, and liberal arts. RPI's Science MBA, Engineering MBA and Master of Science in Technology Commercialization and Entrepreneurship are identified as highly inventive and innovative by the Peterson's guide. Rensselaer is ranked 42nd out of all universities in the United States according to US News & World Report. Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute is also highly recognized internationally for its engineering and computing programs, and has been ranked within the top six universities in the United States for highest median earnings of recent alumni.
I offer lessons in a couple different styles, depending on the goals of the student
- Test Prep (SAT, SHSAT, Regents, finals): we will identify weak points and maximize the student's score as quickly as possible. If a student starts out with minimal knowledge of the material, we can cover the basics much faster than a traditional classroom. I would recommend 2-hour sessions to start
- Through Learning: ideal if we start early during a course. The student will understand all the material covered in class in greater depth, and be slightly ahead of his fellow classmates. I'll also show how the material connects to more advanced or applied topics, that are rarely shown in class (but which become very useful later in a student's career)
- For fun/for a project: more geared towards a computer science project. If the student has an idea for a project, we'll cover the strategy for implementing it, and we'll go over any tricky parts. The student will also learn a variety of tools to make coding more efficient, such as IDE's, debuggers, version control, Linux commands, etc. depending on the project
The point is you will see results and see them fast
I am a Junior in college currently earning my undergraduate degree majoring in Chemistry with a concentration in Biochemistry and minoring in Mathematics. I can tutor in various Chemistry and Math subjects including all Chemistry and Math classes in high school, General Chemistry 1 and 2, Organic Chemistry 1 and 2, Calculus 1 and 2, Multivariable Calculus, and Linear Algebra. I can also help students with any Chemistry related lab material as I have completed up to Organic Chemistry 2 lab and am very proficient in my lab knowledge and protocol. I believe that teaching others the material in a class is the best way to master the subject, which is why I want to tutor. I also am going to Graduate school after I receive my Bachelors and hopefully PhD school to eventually conduct my own research and teach as a professional.
