I am a high school senior who has prepared New York Regents preperation materials for fellow students in the past. Every student I have helped have passed their regents and almost all of them have scored greater than an 85. I am most knowledgable about Earth Science and Biology. However, I can help students in Algebra I, Physics and Chemistry. I ask that students provide me an understanding of what they have already learned, for example if a student needs help with homework I ask them to come with notes their teacher provided, so I have an understanding of a student's prior knowledge and what I can build off of to help them understand complex concepts.

Hi again! I just wanted to let you get to know a little about me. My previous experience with children started with my younger brother who is now 15. He opened the world to me helping other students with their school work. In 2010, I volunteered at a local Jewish Sunday school working with children ages 5 through 12. I was an assistant teacher for two years. After that, I started volunteering at a camp that was dedicated towards children who are along the Autism Spectrum. Spring 2015 I was an intern at Jemicy Lower school which focuses on working with childrne who have learning disabilities like dyslexia. I loved working with children. In 2015 after I graduated from high school, I went to Frostburg State University and went for a degree in early childhood education. Since then I have obtained a cosmetology license from Robert Paul Academy, and graduated from the Community College of Baltimore County with my Associates degree. I have been accepted into Stevenson University to obtain a degree in Finance. I love working with students and doing math. During this pandemic I have graduated, and am currently helping my 10th grade younger brother with his school work. I want to take the time I have available and help others in need.

I started tutoring in high school as a volunteer in my community and quickly became attached to it. I helped elementary school students with English and vocabulary and middle school students with Math subjects like Geometry and Pre-Algebra. It later became my first job experience as I made my tutoring lessons private. I enjoy seeing students grasp concepts they used to struggle with because of my assistance.

My name is Sachin www.*** I attend Basis Independent Mclean, and I am in 10th grade. I am currently taking Pre-Calculus AB. My grades for Pre-algebra and Algebra I was 95 & 97 final. Math is one of my very few passions. I never get bored of doing math. I am great at teaching peers and people around my age range (12 - 17). I had a friend once who hated math, he took geometry, and I said I would help him every Monday for an hour, and he did well in math and got his grade from a 65 to a 90 within one yea with my assistance, and I would be glad to help more people like that. I understand math can be frustrating and daunting at times, but anyone can pull through with a little bit of extra www.*** ;

I am a junior at Centennial High School and have been enrolled in Advanced Placement(AP) and Gifted and Talented(GT) courses since my freshman year. Throughout middle school, I had interests in math and science classes specifically, but by 8th grade, I was in above grade placement classes in every subject. When I began high school I quickly got involved in theatre arts, videography, photography, and charitable clubs. Although I was forced to retire gymnastics after ten years due to injury, I was able to participate in Varsity Cheerleading my Sophomore year. Academics hold great value to me, specifically the real-world applications of what is taught in school.

I am pursuing my computer engineering bachelor's but have experience teaching students of all levels by breaking everything into steps and making sure the concepts are understood before moving on. I also like to create study guides as that is what has helped me be successful in my educational career. I also have attended online lectures and am being trained to guide groups over zoom so I know fun and exciting ways to keep students engaged and have tools to make the experience as immersive as possible.

I wanted to clarify a few things. I have received two Associate's degrees from Raritan Valley Community College. One in Liberal Arts and the other in Food and Beverage Management. I am currently majoring in Chemistry and Mathematics and have been accepted to Rider University with a full scholarship to continue my education in Chemistry. I have screenshots of my transcript from RVCC with most of the college courses that I have taken and the grades I have received. This website only let's you post 4 pictures so I tried to post as many as I could. I have a cumulative GPA of 3. 41 and I was awarded a scholarship from the American Chemical Society to continue my education in Chemistry. I would also like to say that I'm a single mother of one child and I'm just trying to make some extra money while going to school. Give me a chance and I would love to share my knowledge with you!

I have always had a great passion for helping others and being in the classroom. In deciding on a profession, I chose to follow my passion of leading, teaching, and helping others. While my primary focus for my degree is Secondary Education with a specialization in history, I have extensive experience tutoring children from preschool through high school. Likewise, I babysit and nanny children from infancy through middle school. During my time in high school, I was a member of the National Honor Society and the Italian Honor Society. I was also an ambassador for the National Society of High School Scholars. I was also a member of the Peer Mentor organization and a club called PUSH/REBEL. These organizations focused on teaching the youth of the community the dangers of getting involved with or using illegal substances and helped immerse students in positive leadership and educational activities. As a college student, I work for a tutoring company and tutor English Language Arts, History, Chemistry, and Algebra. I also work for a nanny company. It is my hope that I can connect with more students and have the opportunity to work with more children through TutorExtra.

I am a Junior at the University of Mary Washington currently pursuing a major in International Affairs. My main focus is Politics and History, but I love biology and Math as well. I am considering becoming a teacher after I graduate and would love additional experience. I do have experience teaching low level Spanish to kindergarteners and am able to do so now as well. Hello! I would love to help you (or you child) foster a love for learning and further your education! Whether you're falling behind in a class, looking to get ahead, or pursuing an outside interest, I'm the person for you! I am currently a high school student with over 6 years of experience in childcare and teaching. I have worked with both neurotypical and neurodivergent students and believe I am well equipped to help students of all skill levels and abilities. I am currently a private music instructor and a daycare teacher, throughout the stay at home order for the Covid-19 pandemic, I worked for a family as a 1-on-1 tutor to help their children (6 and 14) with online/distance learning. I have a passion for music and believe it to be an important tool to be used when learning/teaching new subjects. I am always looking to learn more and approach every opportunity to educate myself further. Your tutoring session will be tailored to you, if you learn better through conversation and the socratic method, then we'll do that! If you learn better through worksheets and tests, that is exactly what we'll do. Upon graduating high school, I'm planning on pursuing a degree in Inclusive Early Childhood Eduation from Bowling Green State University with a minor in music performance! I have a weighted GPA of www.*** and recieved a 31 on my ACT. Please feel free to email me at ***@*** com with any questions/comment/concerns you may have! I look forward to getting to know you and/or your student, and learning together!
