Hello, I am Jeri and I am so excited to meet you! I graduated with a Bachelor's degree from Notre Dame College in Cleveland, Ohio. I have been teaching for about 5 years, but I have been working with children for a little over 7 years now. I have instructed both 3rd and 4th grade classes fulltime, and tutored students in all elementary grade levels. Throughout the two years I have taught third grade, I have successfuly helped all of my students pass Ohio's Third Grade Reading Gaurantee required test scores. Besides teaching, some of my passions in life are sports, the outdoors, traveling, and animals. I am a very energetic teacher, and I love making kids laugh or smile while they are learning. My teaching style is very dynamic, as I work to accommodate my students learning styles and interests. My availabilty can be flexible, however I have posted the days and times that are the most open.

My goal as a tutor is not only to assist students who struggle in school, but to help them develop a passion for learning. I am an avid reader and writer and want to help kids become avid readers and writers as well. I will plan my lessons with enjoyable and educational activites pertaining to the student's educational level and interests. I will also plan these lessons for summer to keep student's brains fresh and ready for school in the fall.

Hello! I have my master’s degree and certification in PreK-12 reading specialist and instructional coaching. I am also certified in K-6 elementary teaching. I have over ten years of experience working with a diverse range of ability levels. I enjoy working with readers and writers of all ages and can assist whether the struggle is in reading comprehension or decoding (sounding out the words on the page). I am very familiar with dyslexia and use The Science of Reading as the framework for everything I teach in ELA. I also have experience working with gifted students and can help them excel with 1:1 instruction.
I prefer to work with struggling mathematicians in grades K-5.
How it works? I would first set your child up for a FREE evaluation. After, I would be able to pinpoint gaps in their foundational skills and create an individualized learning plan. Lessons thereafter, can be as often as you prefer.
My availability:
Sunday and Saturday- All Day
Monday-Thursday- 3:30-9:00pm
Rates-$60-$85/hour
For now, all lessons will be through Zoom. This allows me to work with students from a wider radius in a safe manner. I look forward to hearing from you soon.

Although I have only one year of teaching experience in a school setting, I have tutored students for many years online and in their homes my step-by-step approach to solving algebraic and word problems. Mathematics is unlike any other subject - it can not be memorized, it MUST BE PRACTICED! I make up practice sheets so my students can gain as much experience as possible. Along with my other teaching experiences, I have also taught GED math subjects such as time, fractions, decimals, scientific notation, and beginning algebra. My schedule is very flexible and I can travel anywhere in the Hershey/Hummelstown area.

Hello! I am currently a senior in high school, and school has always been a strong suit of mine. I have always been good at, and passionate for, helping people. I have been babysitting and tutoring children since I was 14 years old, so I've learned how to interact with kids and parents alike. I will be graduating from my high school soon, and will be moving on to Northwood University for business! Don't be afraid to reach out to me and ask questions, and I'm excited to be helping you!

Hi, my name is Taylor. I am 18 and currently attend Michigan State University. I have been tutoring for 4 years and really like to focus learning tailored to the specific student. I used to dread going to certain classes because the teachers would not teach in a way beneficial to me, so i know how important it is to individually tailor lessons to how different brains work.
