Hello
My name is Fernanda
I am from Brazil, I am 28 years old.
I used to work as a teacher in Brazil from 2012 to 2017. In 2017 I decided to move to NYC to be an Au Pair. I stayed there with the same amazing family for the past 2 years.
In Brazil I used to be a teacher assistant for toddlers and Kindergarten.
Both my parents are also teachers, my dad is from Uruguay so I speak Spanish as well.
I have a degree in Pedagogy(special degree to teach and take care of kids), and I worked in the education field every since my first year in college.
The kids I used to babysit in Ny, were 3 and 6 yo.
I am very patience and calm with kids, I do not believe in time outs, I think that if something went worng and you talk to them and explain what happened, they can understand and we can work together to solve the problem in a better way next time.
I like to do arts and crafts, cooking, play board games, and spend time outdoors.

I don't have professional experience but I have tutored many kids in my neighborhood. I'm a 11th grade high school student. My strengths has always been mathematics and I'm patient with kids. I'm bilingual in English and Portuguese and flexible with teaching styles, knowing not all students learn the same. I'm good and comfortable with kids and have mostly flexible www.*** ;
