I am a passionate math teacher who loves to watch students excel. My main focus is to ensure that the students I interact with gain the skills needed to make learning easier. The greatest struggle I see with students today is they allow themselves to get discouraged when the learning becomes difficult as so many of them have had no issues up to that point. Students need constant reassurance that they can overcome any obstacle with enough work and effort.
I graduated from Washington University in St. Louis with a double major in Mathematics and Secondary Education. I spent so much time and effort while in school learning not only from my teachers but from every internship I was able to take. I focused as much as possible on developing the skills to transfer my knowledge to the future generations.
I have taught at a number of high schools in Oklahoma and currently find myself teaching at Prue. I am qualified to teach AP Calculus, AP Statistics, Pre-AP Algebra 2, and many more courses. I have taught almost every level of math that a high school student can take at this point, but always look for ways to continue pushing myself to be able to reach more students.

I am a 27 year old math, science, and engineering tutor. I began tutoring math in 2010 with a local tutoring company. After gaining several years of experience and expanding the subjects I was capable of tutoring, I began taking on private tutoring opportunities. I then began tutoring at the local community collee, covering specific courses and working with assist students in courses with historically high failure rates. I now work as an assistant supervisor for a college tutorial center that has been voted best in area 5 years in a row. I have a level 1 CRLA tutoring certificate and am currently looking for new students to take on in a private capacity.
I am passionate about nearly all STEM courses and I am currently pursuing a Bachelor Degree in Electrical Engineering at California State University of Fresno.

I wanted to clarify a few things. I have received two Associate's degrees from Raritan Valley Community College. One in Liberal Arts and the other in Food and Beverage Management. I am currently majoring in Chemistry and Mathematics and have been accepted to Rider University with a full scholarship to continue my education in Chemistry. I have screenshots of my transcript from RVCC with most of the college courses that I have taken and the grades I have received. This website only let's you post 4 pictures so I tried to post as many as I could. I have a cumulative GPA of 3. 41 and I was awarded a scholarship from the American Chemical Society to continue my education in Chemistry. I would also like to say that I'm a single mother of one child and I'm just trying to make some extra money while going to school. Give me a chance and I would love to share my knowledge with you!

Hey you beautiful people! I know the difficulties in python(or coding in general) first hand. I was in your shoes once believe it or not. It can seem very hard and scary, I understand, but it doesn't need to be. Many concepts in coding(python) just need to be broken down for us to understand! When you and I have a 1-on-1 together. We'll use my building block strategy, making learning new concepts easier. The strategy entails breaking down big concepts into smaller pieces, and then building it back up again. So, whether you want to become a better coder, build projects, or get your future job. I am going to help you make your goal a success. My passion from an early age is sharing my knowledge to people(coaching Calculus and now coding). I am always trying to find a way to make an impact on someones life. I am here for you, your future and your career. Also because I'm very passionate about helping you. I will take this very seriously. A free 30 min consultation is included to help decide if we are a match for each other. I am very excited to speak with you and can't wait to help you crush it!

I am a rising Senior at Dunwoody High School who is highly academically driven and successful. I have a great passion to impact the world around me for the better which has invoked my love for tutoring and helping others learn especially when they are struggling.
For years I have been helping many of my friends when they are struggling and have even begun to organize study groups leading up to stressful exams. Since 6th grade, I have been making study sets on Quizlet which I share with all of the students in my class to help them study for various tests. From this, I have become popular as "Jacob-D.!!!" or "The Quizlet guy." Recently, I have joined the National Honor Society and the Science National Honor Society. In these clubs, I have obtained many volunteer hours tutoring elementary schoolers or even younger high schoolers in previous subjects.
At my school, I have gone through the Spanish pathway taking AP Spanish Language and Culture. Therefore, I can speak Spanish and may be able to communicate with any native-speaking parents or students if necessary.
Some other clubs I do are cross-country and robotics.
Academics and Awards:

I enjoy teaching and sharing my passion for math and logic. I also love to see people be able to grow and learn in ways that they did not know that they could. There is also joy for me in learning as well because by teaching people I also get to learn and grow and get to grow a connection to the people that I am teaching. I am a college student pursuing a bachelors degree in computer science with a minor in mathematics. Math has always been a passion of mine, and I love the way numbers and calculations work to bring understanding to problems. I also have a lot of passion for teaching others and trying to help others achieve a better understanding of the material that they are studying along with helping them grow and appreciate the subject that I know and love.
What is your typical process for working with a new student?
My process with a new student is to get to know them and how they view the subject that they are working on. Whether they view it as a passion that just needs more help to fully develop, a burden to be overcome, or something else entirely. Once I have begun to know this information I like to begin by introducing the basic ideas around the subject or topic at hand to get a better grasp around the fundamentals. This helps me learn who the student is as a person and how they like to learn and interact with the subject so that the relationship is built and the way to approach the subject can be improved for each of the individual students
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have a large background in mathematics. I am pursuing a mathematics minor and a computer science degree. I have taken up to Calculus III, linear algebra, and statistics at the college level. I have been at the top of my class throughout high school and college. math has always come easily to me, and I love to share and learn with people while improving my own skills.

The Institute was established in 1824 by Stephen van Rensselaer and Amos Eaton for the "application of science to the common purposes of life" and is described as the oldest technological university in the English-speaking world. Numerous American colleges or departments of applied sciences were modeled after Rensselaer.
Today, Rensselaer is organized into six main schools which contain 37 departments, with emphasis on science and technology. It is well recognized for its degree programs in engineering, computing, business and management, information technology, the sciences, design, and liberal arts. RPI's Science MBA, Engineering MBA and Master of Science in Technology Commercialization and Entrepreneurship are identified as highly inventive and innovative by the Peterson's guide. Rensselaer is ranked 42nd out of all universities in the United States according to US News & World Report. Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute is also highly recognized internationally for its engineering and computing programs, and has been ranked within the top six universities in the United States for highest median earnings of recent alumni.

I offer lessons in a couple different styles, depending on the goals of the student
- Test Prep (SAT, SHSAT, Regents, finals): we will identify weak points and maximize the student's score as quickly as possible. If a student starts out with minimal knowledge of the material, we can cover the basics much faster than a traditional classroom. I would recommend 2-hour sessions to start
- Through Learning: ideal if we start early during a course. The student will understand all the material covered in class in greater depth, and be slightly ahead of his fellow classmates. I'll also show how the material connects to more advanced or applied topics, that are rarely shown in class (but which become very useful later in a student's career)
- For fun/for a project: more geared towards a computer science project. If the student has an idea for a project, we'll cover the strategy for implementing it, and we'll go over any tricky parts. The student will also learn a variety of tools to make coding more efficient, such as IDE's, debuggers, version control, Linux commands, etc. depending on the project
The point is you will see results and see them fast

I have tutored my classmates and young kids since the past three years. I love helping students understand the mysteries and science and solve problems that they think are challenging. I like guiding a student to the solution and most of my students. I feel accomplished when my student understands the convoluted meanings of sensational www.*** have tutored students in all the core subjects at the elementary and middle school level. I tutor students in biology, chemistry, math (all levels), environmental science, organic chemistry, physics, calculus, and statistics at the high school and college level.
