I am a retired, PA certified sixth grade teacher of 35 years. Although I am retired, I enjoy continuing my work and connection with young people. My retirement experiences have included the nannying of school age children and the tutoring of a variety of school age children from first to eighth grade in all manner of school subjects. I emphasize the importance of learning and the use of good study skills. I will work with the school systems if necessary and strenghten relationships between the child and the school. In addition to my academic tutoring, I also teach children and adults how to sew.
I am an undergraduate student at Lehigh University and I would love to be you Math tutor! I work great with kids and will explain confusing subject matter from all subject matter from fractions to multivariable calculus.
Although I have only one year of teaching experience in a school setting, I have tutored students for many years online and in their homes my step-by-step approach to solving algebraic and word problems. Mathematics is unlike any other subject - it can not be memorized, it MUST BE PRACTICED! I make up practice sheets so my students can gain as much experience as possible. Along with my other teaching experiences, I have also taught GED math subjects such as time, fractions, decimals, scientific notation, and beginning algebra. My schedule is very flexible and I can travel anywhere in the Hershey/Hummelstown area.

I have worked with a diverse group of students over the years. I have a variety of different strategies to help students not only learn the concepts, but remember how, and when to use the strategies. In my years of teaching, I have learned many new strategies from my www.*** ;

Hi, I am looking for students who need help with their school studies to take it to the next level. i am willing to accommodate the student as necessary.
My teaching style incorporates my love of art and music to create a creative and productive learning atmosphere. I work to forge genuine connections with students built on a foundation of genuine care and professional competence. Over my four years as a part-time music educator, I developed strong classroom management and curriculum development skills. In finishing my teaching certification last spring in a rather unconventional atmosphere, I have added flexibility in my practice and fluency in online learning tools to my list of qualifications. To learn more about my experience, skills, and teaching philosophy, please review my linked website.
Hello! I have my master’s degree and certification in PreK-12 reading specialist and instructional coaching. I am also certified in K-6 elementary teaching. I have over ten years of experience working with a diverse range of ability levels. Hi again! I just wanted to let you get to know a little about me. My previous experience with children started with my younger brother who is now 15. He opened the world to me helping other students with their school work. In 2010, I volunteered at a local Jewish Sunday school working with children ages 5 through 12. I was an assistant teacher for two years. After that, I started volunteering at a camp that was dedicated towards children who are along the Autism Spectrum. Spring 2015 I was an intern at Jemicy Lower school which focuses on working with childrne who have learning disabilities like dyslexia. I loved working with children. In 2015 after I graduated from high school, I went to Frostburg State University and went for a degree in early childhood education. Since then I have obtained a cosmetology license from Robert Paul Academy, and graduated from the Community College of Baltimore County with my Associates degree. I have been accepted into Stevenson University to obtain a degree in Finance. I love working with students and doing math. During this pandemic I have graduated, and am currently helping my 10th grade younger brother with his school work. I want to take the time I have available and help others in need.
I am a 14 year old boy and am attending high school. I am an all honors student and have received leadership awards from my school to show my responsibility. I am great with kids 8 to 12 years old. For tutoring, I would be interested in a job with students above age 12.
Hello! My name is Kseana but you may call me Kasey cause its easier LoL. and I am a very great person to work with. I am only 15 years old but I love math, and english. I can only teach grades lower than me because I find it easier as off now. I would try and make learning fun for your child so they don't think learning is boring. I would always try and teach my sisters all the time. The first session is free so we can get to know eachother then. I can even help with homework, thats not a problem with me at all. I would always try and bring a snack, so you can tell me what your child is allergic to. But I wouldn't bring peanuts because I'm allergic to peanuts and stuff like that. I put psychotherapy because I honestly LOVE to listen and help so maybe me and your teen or child can bond. Maybe we can relate. I can't add photos of myself until I get my phone fixed so I'm using a laptop at the moment. We can meet at the library or any other place it's up to you. Maybe even sometimes my home. I don't really have as much experience but I love to learn so I might see if this is for me. I am very respondsible, fun-loving, patient, trustworthy and I am always happy! We can do a backgroud check whenever you want I am not really sure how to put it up here. I will update my account once I get my phone fixed but for now you can message me hear or on my gmail ***@*** But I can't wait to have fun in learning with your child!
