Hello! My name is Paul and I am a gifted class student currently in 8th grade. I major in math, English, and Science! I am happy to assist any children in grades pre-k through 6th. I will learn how your child likes to learn and adapt to their needs. If you are near my area we can do in-person tutoring, and for farther distances, I can set up Zoom calls for lessons customized you YOUR child! Your child will not receive the same experience as another child because everyone learns differently.
I started out teaching 2nd grade and have been teaching 5th grade for 19 years. In my 19 years, I have worked with a variety of students, curriculum, strategies, and philosophies. I have also worked one-on-one and with small groups, from Kindergarten to high school. Over the years I have tutored many students in my district, as well as other districts in the area.
I have worked with a diverse group of students over the years. I have a variety of different strategies to help students not only learn the concepts, but remember how, and when to use the strategies. In my years of teaching, I have learned many new strategies from my www.*** ;
I am always looking to find new ways to help students be successful!
My teaching style incorporates my love of art and music to create a creative and productive learning atmosphere. I work to forge genuine connections with students built on a foundation of genuine care and professional competence. Over my four years as a part-time music educator, I developed strong classroom management and curriculum development skills. In finishing my teaching certification last spring in a rather unconventional atmosphere, I have added flexibility in my practice and fluency in online learning tools to my list of qualifications. To learn more about my experience, skills, and teaching philosophy, please review my linked website.

I am unsure of how to use this platform, so if you would like to contact me via email! I would be more than happy to help your student achieve their goals!
I am able to help parents understand the homework being sent home with their students, as well as help students who may be falling behind. I have taught kindergarten, 2nd grade, 4th grade, autistic support classes and inclusion classes during my college career.
I am a retired, PA certified sixth grade teacher of 35 years. Although I am retired, I enjoy continuing my work and connection with young people. My retirement experiences have included the nannying of school age children and the tutoring of a variety of school age children from first to eighth grade in all manner of school subjects. I emphasize the importance of learning and the use of good study skills. I will work with the school systems if necessary and strenghten relationships between the child and the school. In addition to my academic tutoring, I also teach children and adults how to sew.
I am an undergraduate student at Lehigh University and I would love to be you Math tutor! I work great with kids and will explain confusing subject matter from all subject matter from fractions to multivariable calculus.
My intellectual curiosity, love of learning, and desire to positively impact the lives of others ultimately lead me into the field of education. I believe that the purpose of education is to equip an individual with the necessary tools to problem solve, effectively communicate, and think critically. The quality of education that children receive in their early years is pivotal to their development and success later in life.
I am currently working as a Kindergarten teacher in an inclusive classroom for Baltimore City Public Schools. I hold two Maryland Educator Certificates, in Elementary Education and Special Education. In May 2016, I completed the Master of Arts in Teaching program at Johns Hopkins University. I also have experience working with students with Autism and other special needs.
I believe that as a teacher, I contribute to the development of dynamic and engaging learning environments for students. I look forward to working with your child/student!
Hi again! I just wanted to let you get to know a little about me. My previous experience with children started with my younger brother who is now 15. He opened the world to me helping other students with their school work. In 2010, I volunteered at a local Jewish Sunday school working with children ages 5 through 12. I was an assistant teacher for two years. After that, I started volunteering at a camp that was dedicated towards children who are along the Autism Spectrum. Spring 2015 I was an intern at Jemicy Lower school which focuses on working with childrne who have learning disabilities like dyslexia. I loved working with children. In 2015 after I graduated from high school, I went to Frostburg State University and went for a degree in early childhood education. Since then I have obtained a cosmetology license from Robert Paul Academy, and graduated from the Community College of Baltimore County with my Associates degree. I have been accepted into Stevenson University to obtain a degree in Finance. I love working with students and doing math. During this pandemic I have graduated, and am currently helping my 10th grade younger brother with his school work. I want to take the time I have available and help others in need.
I am an enthusiastic and dedicated teacher looking to expand my experience by tutoring. I am open to tutoring any subject area and any grade level, although my experience is mainly with the younger grades. I graduated from the College of New Jersey with a degree in Early Childhood Education and English, and I am certified to teach grades PreK - 6 . I currently work at the Children's Corner Preschool for the Piscataway Township School District. I also have experience teaching Kindergarten, First Grade, and Second Grade. Some programs I have recieved training for and implemented include the Reader's and Writer's Workshop, Fundations, Words their Way, Envisions Math, and Everyday Math. I look forward to meeting with you!
Although I have only one year of teaching experience in a school setting, I have tutored students for many years online and in their homes my step-by-step approach to solving algebraic and word problems. Mathematics is unlike any other subject - it can not be memorized, it MUST BE PRACTICED! I make up practice sheets so my students can gain as much experience as possible. Along with my other teaching experiences, I have also taught GED math subjects such as time, fractions, decimals, scientific notation, and beginning algebra. My schedule is very flexible and I can travel anywhere in the Hershey/Hummelstown area.
Hi! I'm Lauren and I will be a high school junior in the fall. I have a passion for teaching and working with children. I also take a number of AP and honors classes in school.
I am currently offering tutoring sessions online and in-person. In person sessions will have some restrictions, though, due to COVID-19. You can come to me, or I can come to you!
I also have plenty of experience with children. Including-
-YMCA Junior Camp Counselor
-Child Development Class: Students involved with the class get the opportunity to create and teach lessons to preschoolers.
-Classroom Volunteer: I volunteered in an elementary school classroom daily after school during the 2019-2020 school year. I assisted during their math period.
-Reading Buddies: At my local library, I was involved with a program in which I met with a third grader weekly to practice reading and writing skills.
-Nursery Attendant: I worked in a church nursery alongside my sister where we supervised children during the church service.
I would love to work with your child, and I'd love to hear from you soon! Please reach out with any questions or concerns! Thank you!
Hello! My name is Kseana but you may call me Kasey cause its easier LoL. and I am a very great person to work with. I am only 15 years old but I love math, and english. I can only teach grades lower than me because I find it easier as off now. I would try and make learning fun for your child so they don't think learning is boring. I would always try and teach my sisters all the time. The first session is free so we can get to know eachother then. I can even help with homework, thats not a problem with me at all. I would always try and bring a snack, so you can tell me what your child is allergic to. But I wouldn't bring peanuts because I'm allergic to peanuts and stuff like that. I put psychotherapy because I honestly LOVE to listen and help so maybe me and your teen or child can bond. Maybe we can relate. I can't add photos of myself until I get my phone fixed so I'm using a laptop at the moment. We can meet at the library or any other place it's up to you. Maybe even sometimes my home. I don't really have as much experience but I love to learn so I might see if this is for me. I am very respondsible, fun-loving, patient, trustworthy and I am always happy! We can do a backgroud check whenever you want I am not really sure how to put it up here. I will update my account once I get my phone fixed but for now you can message me hear or on my gmail ***@*** But I can't wait to have fun in learning with your child!
