I finished my high school in Hong Kong, now I am studying in ELAC with biochemistry major. I have experienced the eastern and the western teaching style, eastern one is more like exam oriented and the western one is more focusing on the concept. But I think those two elements should make a balance. In my class, I will combine those two elements, you will learn the concept and the skills when taking the exam.

Hello. My name is John. I graduated with a Bachelor's degree in www.*** ; I have +9 years of tutoring www.*** ; I took AP Biology in High school and scored 5. (If I can do it, you can too!) Also, I'm a pre-dental student. Recently, I have taken the Dental Admission Test and have reviewed Biology, Chemistry and O-chem for the DAT. Materials for DAT Biology Section and Chemistry Section are identical to AP Biology and AP Chemistry. I can provide private instruction to students to improve academic performance. Also, I can help you develop good study skills and test-taking strategies. I believe good test-taking strategies and study skills are as equally important as learning the material. Good test-taking strategies and study skills will help you as you continue through high school and eventually transition to college.
As stated above, I recently took the Dental Admission Test. My DAT score for biology was 24 (approx. 95th percentile). My DAT score for chemistry was 21 (approx. 85-90th percentile).
I love science and I love sharing my knowledge and enthusiasm for science. I know studying for biology and chemistry can be challenging and stressful especially when you are struggling to get good grades. My main goal is for you to understand the materials and develop good study skills and test-taking strategies, but also to help you encourage and motivate you to enjoy learning about biology and www.*** ; I find that when you enjoy learning about the materials, more likely to enhance learning experience and better grades. I’m looking forward to meeting you. Feel free to contact me. Thank you.

Being a tutor and a supplemental instruction leader for the past three years (at Student Center for Academic Achievement) and going to monthly training meetings, I have learned to quickly get the tutee comfortable and gauge their needs to tailor a specific way of tutoring. I believe in challenging yourself and understanding the core basic concepts. I take this same friendly yet motivated attitude to my tutoring sessions to help students achieve their goals academically. Through experience, training, and being a student myself, I have a good grasp at study schedule management and know the importance of different learning tools. Tutoring is a passion of mine and I plan each session ahead of time to cater the student's needs such that the student can get the most out of each session. I'm a fun-loving and confident person who believes that learning should be fun and so I try to make each session interesting. What I love most about tutoring is that both the tutor and the tutee learn during each session and help each other grow. I love to help students achieve their goals and the spark they have once they grasp a concept.
I have had an interest in science since I was 8 years old. I always read on recent research papers since high school. What makes me a good science tutor is the experience as both: a tutor and a student. As a student I know how to study for science topics and how to knit all the things we learn in this subject together. During my undergraduate, I was able to get an A on every science class and graduate as a Summa Cum Laude along with got great reviews from my tutees. I believe that each person has a different perspective and I tailor my tutoring technique to that perspective as well as add a newer one.

Hello! My name is Eric and I am a upcoming senior at University of California, Davis and am currently majoring in Neurobiology, Physiology, and Behavior. I am a pre-medical student looking to gain some extra experience this summer while at home and would be very excited to work with you in order to teach you the foundations of science or math. I specialize in Organic Chemistry and Biochemistry, but am comfortable teaching basic Physiology, Biology, Physics, or any basic Elementary, Middle School, or High School subjects. I am very flexible and will work in many different contexts, such as preparing for AP exams, exams in class, preparation for the upcoming school year, etc. I received an average GPA of 3. 9 over my Sophomore and Junior years and have been tutoring Organic Chemistry and specialized Biology for over a year and am excited to share my knowledge and approach to academics.
In terms of scheduling, I am very flexible, so just ask and i will be able to adapt to your needs.
Thank you and good luck in your studies!
