Hello! I look forward to working with you! Here is a little bit about myself to help you get to know me. I have lived in Beaver Falls, Pennsylvania for my entire life, I graduated from Blackhawk High School and Beaver County Career/Technology Center in 2016 before shooting straight into college at the Community College of Beaver County. I studied Culinary Arts as my major, but during my free time I took online courses for English Literature and Writing. Since then, I have written 2 E-Books of my own Poetry, and I am currently working on my first Fiction. Since I was young, I felt a duty to help the generations after me excel in their academic studies, therefore started my volunteer tutoring. As a student who struggled with ADD in school, I understand the hardships of finding a tutor that can truely help. I found this Tutor website and knew that this would help me find a great way to give to the younger generation. First Lesson is always free, that way it gives you, as the student and your parents, the freedom to decide if you would like to continue lessons with me, without losing your hard earned money! And because I know for you as a parent, you get super busy, so I offer free payment reminders via Text Message! So you never have to worry about writing it down! I am currently unable to travel due to a car accident, but I do offer online tutoring via Skype! You can find my username on my profile and feel free to message me anytime and I will get back to you as soon as possible. I hope my profile has helped you get to know who I am, and I look forward to being your next English Tutor! :)

Hello! I would love to help you (or you child) foster a love for learning and further your education! Whether you're falling behind in a class, looking to get ahead, or pursuing an outside interest, I'm the person for you! I am currently a high school student with over 6 years of experience in childcare and teaching. I have worked with both neurotypical and neurodivergent students and believe I am well equipped to help students of all skill levels and abilities. I am currently a private music instructor and a daycare teacher, throughout the stay at home order for the Covid-19 pandemic, I worked for a family as a 1-on-1 tutor to help their children (6 and 14) with online/distance learning. I have a passion for music and believe it to be an important tool to be used when learning/teaching new subjects. I am always looking to learn more and approach every opportunity to educate myself further. Your tutoring session will be tailored to you, if you learn better through conversation and the socratic method, then we'll do that! If you learn better through worksheets and tests, that is exactly what we'll do. Upon graduating high school, I'm planning on pursuing a degree in Inclusive Early Childhood Eduation from Bowling Green State University with a minor in music performance! I have a weighted GPA of www.*** and recieved a 31 on my ACT. Please feel free to email me at ***@*** com with any questions/comment/concerns you may have! I look forward to getting to know you and/or your student, and learning together!

Growing up in the public school system, I realized its greatest fault is an apathy towards learning. Instructors merely teach towards a test, students are judged only by their ability to score high on exams. While it is a tutor's main goal to bring those scores up, I hope to create a learning environment in which students genuinely enjoy the material and become actively curious about the subjects they are exposed to. Whether it's biology, chemistry, math, or writing, I aim to not only teach my students, but to engage them and lead them to an ongoing interst in their fields of study.
To contact me, please call or text at tel: *** , I will be able to reply much faster via the phone than I will through the website.
Taking students of all ages and abilities. The weekday times of availability are tentative and flexible, please let me know what times work for you!

I am currently a college graduate with a bachelor's in English. English was my first language, and I wanted to expand my understanding in it. I enjoy teaching others how to communicate and increase their knowledge in every aspect of the English language. I have always had a great passion for helping others and being in the classroom. In deciding on a profession, I chose to follow my passion of leading, teaching, and helping others. While my primary focus for my degree is Secondary Education with a specialization in history, I have extensive experience tutoring children from preschool through high school. Likewise, I babysit and nanny children from infancy through middle school. During my time in high school, I was a member of the National Honor Society and the Italian Honor Society. I was also an ambassador for the National Society of High School Scholars. I was also a member of the Peer Mentor organization and a club called PUSH/REBEL. These organizations focused on teaching the youth of the community the dangers of getting involved with or using illegal substances and helped immerse students in positive leadership and educational activities. As a college student, I work for a tutoring company and tutor English Language Arts, History, Chemistry, and Algebra. I also work for a nanny company. It is my hope that I can connect with more students and have the opportunity to work with more children through TutorExtra.

Hi again! I just wanted to let you get to know a little about me. My previous experience with children started with my younger brother who is now 15. He opened the world to me helping other students with their school work. In 2010, I volunteered at a local Jewish Sunday school working with children ages 5 through 12. I was an assistant teacher for two years. After that, I started volunteering at a camp that was dedicated towards children who are along the Autism Spectrum. Spring 2015 I was an intern at Jemicy Lower school which focuses on working with childrne who have learning disabilities like dyslexia. I loved working with children. In 2015 after I graduated from high school, I went to Frostburg State University and went for a degree in early childhood education. Since then I have obtained a cosmetology license from Robert Paul Academy, and graduated from the Community College of Baltimore County with my Associates degree. I have been accepted into Stevenson University to obtain a degree in Finance. I love working with students and doing math. During this pandemic I have graduated, and am currently helping my 10th grade younger brother with his school work. I want to take the time I have available and help others in need.
