Hello! I would love to help you (or you child) foster a love for learning and further your education! Whether you're falling behind in a class, looking to get ahead, or pursuing an outside interest, I'm the person for you! I am currently a high school student with over 6 years of experience in childcare and teaching. I have worked with both neurotypical and neurodivergent students and believe I am well equipped to help students of all skill levels and abilities. I am currently a private music instructor and a daycare teacher, throughout the stay at home order for the Covid-19 pandemic, I worked for a family as a 1-on-1 tutor to help their children (6 and 14) with online/distance learning. I have a passion for music and believe it to be an important tool to be used when learning/teaching new subjects. I am always looking to learn more and approach every opportunity to educate myself further. Your tutoring session will be tailored to you, if you learn better through conversation and the socratic method, then we'll do that! If you learn better through worksheets and tests, that is exactly what we'll do. Upon graduating high school, I'm planning on pursuing a degree in Inclusive Early Childhood Eduation from Bowling Green State University with a minor in music performance! I have a weighted GPA of www.*** and recieved a 31 on my ACT. Please feel free to email me at ***@*** com with any questions/comment/concerns you may have! I offer online sessions with standard Mandarin Chinese and simplified Chinese characters. There are two types of sessions that I provide. One is homework help, exam preparation, etc. You can send me the documents that you want to work on. The other type of session that I do is one-hour-long structured lessons with vocabulary, sentences, dialogues, etc. I follow a set curriculum and use PowerPoint presentations for the sessions. You also have the option to order the textbook online to go with your study. I teach both everyday Chinese and Business Chinese.
I have worked with students from 6 to 80 years old, ranging from K-12, college, working and retired adults, and homeschooled students. Right now I am specialized in beginner Chinese. My passion is to be a language teacher. I think it would be great if I could help you learn Chinese while doing what I love. I am patient, easygoing, and punctual. I can be flexible with the schedule, too. I live in the Eastern Time Zone and my availability can be found on my profile. Looking forward to hearing from you. Thank you.

Hello! I have my master’s degree and certification in PreK-12 reading specialist and instructional coaching. I am also certified in K-6 elementary teaching. I have over ten years of experience working with a diverse range of ability levels. I enjoy working with readers and writers of all ages and can assist whether the struggle is in reading comprehension or decoding (sounding out the words on the page). I am very familiar with dyslexia and use The Science of Reading as the framework for everything I teach in ELA. I also have experience working with gifted students and can help them excel with 1:1 instruction.
I prefer to work with struggling mathematicians in grades K-5.
How it works? I would first set your child up for a FREE evaluation. After, I would be able to pinpoint gaps in their foundational skills and create an individualized learning plan. Lessons thereafter, can be as often as you prefer.
My availability:
Sunday and Saturday- All Day
Monday-Thursday- 3:30-9:00pm
Rates-$60-$85/hour
For now, all lessons will be through Zoom. This allows me to work with students from a wider radius in a safe manner. I look forward to hearing from you soon.

Accomplished bilingual (Spanish-English) higher education Full Professor with a doctorate in Electrical
Engineering and 20+ years of higher education teaching experience in a variety of subjects such as Statistics. A creative facilitator
of learning. Seeking to leverage my breadth of cross-functional expertise and multidisciplinary
knowledge to help the achievement of my students' learning goals.
My preferred teaching method is "learner-centered." My role is to facilitate learning rather than
delivering teaching, by putting principles and my own experience into practice in order to
encourage and support the students to take responsibility for their own learning. Besides being
a source of knowledge, as a learning facilitator, I guide the students towards resources and
sources of knowledge. From the beginning, I set clear goals and objectives, require active
participation from the students and provide constant assessment and feedback.

Although I have only one year of teaching experience in a school setting, I have tutored students for many years online and in their homes my step-by-step approach to solving algebraic and word problems. Mathematics is unlike any other subject - it can not be memorized, it MUST BE PRACTICED! I make up practice sheets so my students can gain as much experience as possible. Along with my other teaching experiences, I have also taught GED math subjects such as time, fractions, decimals, scientific notation, and beginning algebra. My schedule is very flexible and I can travel anywhere in the Hershey/Hummelstown area.

Hello, and thank you for considering me as a teacher for you or your child. I have a degree in English and am a certified teacher with over 20 years of experience. My passion is working with anyone who has a desire to learn. I teach Mathematics, English (both composition and the language itself), and music, specifically piano performance. My philosophy of teaching is that everyone can learn, and I consider it my job to find out how to make that happen for each individual. I truly believe that every student is unique, and that every student learns differently. There is no "one size fits all" approach to education in my way of thinking. I look forward to getting to know you!
